Bicipital tendinitis is inflammation of the long head of the biceps tendon along the bicipital groove. Common in athletes and manual workers.
⚠ Most common symptoms
- Pain in the anterior shoulder radiating towards the biceps
- Tenderness over the bicipital groove
- Pain when flexing the elbow against resistance
🩹 Treatment
- Physiotherapy, NSAIDs, local injections
- Surgery (tenotomy or biceps tenodesis) in chronic cases

- Very good with appropriate treatment.
